INTRODUCING NANO MIO FACIALS
Essential Beauty has introduced three new facial options to our menu, called NANO MIO, because each treatment will be customised for your skin by Suzanne for your skin condition after a skin analysis.
WHAT IS NANO NEEDLING?
This is an advanced facial treatment using a Nano Pen where Nano Needles create thousands of micro channels in the skin allowing active ingredients to penetrate up to 80% deeper, while at the same time tricking the body into repairing itself by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin thus enhancing cellular renewal.
These treatments can combat fine lines, wrinkles and other skin blemishes using your skins own repair process. This treatment can be done with or without numbing cream for your comfort, painlessly smoothing your skin texture and appearance.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICRO NEEDLING AND NANO NEEDLING?
The difference between Nano Needling and Micro Needling is the depth that the needles penetrate into the skin.
Nano needling only penetrates the first layer of the skin, while Micro Needling penetrates deeper.
If your concerns are fine lines, wrinkles, dark pigmentation and sagging skin then Nano Mio is for you. If your skin concerns are deeper wrinkles, and acne scars then Micro needling would be an option, bearing in mind the depth of these concerns, this will be discussed in your consultation, where each treatment will be specific for your skin concerns. Nano Needling can be safely performed on all skin types.
Nano Needling can be done every two to three weeks or as an add on to your monthly Facial. Your options can be discussed with you at your consultation and your treatment will be customised to treat your concerns.
The micro channels that are created by the Nano pen will close 15 to 30 minutes after the procedure. The skin will be red and can feel dry and tight after the procedure and may feel like a mild sunburn, your skin should normalise by the next day.
No Sun exposure for a few days, No touching for 4 hrs and no make-up for 24 hrs, No heat exposure, and No sunblock for the day of treatment.
